1-Way Microdripper

The 1-Way Microdripper is a pressure-compensated dripper that ensures extremely accurate and uniform water delivery for medium to large irrigation systems. This system is ideal for growers who want consistent and precise watering without variations between plants.

How Does the 1-Way Microdripper Work?

This micro-dripper is designed to open only within a pressure range of 1 - 3.5 BAR (15-50 PSI) , ensuring a constant and controlled water delivery. As soon as the correct pressure is reached, all drippers open simultaneously and deliver exactly the same amount of water to every plant. This prevents over- or under-watering within the irrigation system.

Important Installation Tips

• Note: This type of dripper requires a powerful pump capable of delivering a minimum pressure of 1 BAR (15 PSI) .

• Minimum number of plants: This irrigation system works best with 20-30 plants or more . With fewer plants, the pump will frequently switch on and off to compensate for pressure loss, which significantly shortens the lifespan of the pump.

• Available Variants: In addition to the 1-Way Microdripper, there are also variants with a 2-way splitter and a 4-way splitter . This allows you to connect 2 or 4 drip lines, respectively, to a single dripper.

Maintenance and Prevention of Blockages

To guarantee a long service life and a trouble-free irrigation system, we recommend using the following maintenance products:

• Lateral Flush Valve: Prevents blockages by flushing leftover salts and residues from the pipes.

• Disc Filter: Must be installed between the pump and the supply line to prevent dirt particles from blocking the drippers.

• Residue Agent or Pipe Cleaner: Use, for example, Root Drip or Wet HoCL to keep the pipes clean and minimize the risk of blockages.

Suitability of Nutrients

This micro-irrigation system is suitable exclusively for synthetic and mineral plant nutrients . The use of organic fertilizers is discouraged, as they can quickly clog the drippers.
